It was a pleasure meeting you, Mark, at today’s ‘Read Out Loud’ MeetUp session. I enjoyed hearing your work and look forward to hearing more.

You can learn more about the activity I mentioned – 100in1Day – by first visiting Evergreen’s website ttp://www.evergreen.ca

I hope you will consider doing something that has meaning for you on June 7 to help transform Toronto into the wonderful city we all know it can be.

    Cheers!

It was a pleasure meeting you too, Marcella. I liked the friendly, cozy group at the Read Out Loud Toronto meet up. The acoustics in the room were perfect. You could really hear the shape of the words without shouting and without need of a mike. This, in my opinion, is very important. If you have to shout, the words and meaning and feeling flatten out, instead of maintaing their nuances.

I will keep Evergreen in mind for June 7. Thank you for the info.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Wow, Mark, remember me! You were my TESL instructor at CCLCS, in 1997 and again in 2007. What a marvellous website! I wish I could emulate your example.
Thanks for connecting through Linkedin. Philip

    Mark,
I finally had a chance to browse through your website – it’s lovely!
I’ve always loved your poetry, and am so impressed with your skill in capturing a moment; an emotion, a scene – with just the right words.
    Thanks and keep creating,
    Dawn

Thanks, Margaret. I am following your posts on Facebook. I still have a photo of you and Ayesha and me above my desk at work. It was taken at a school outing circa 2002 in the little park across the street from St. Lawrence Market.
